Do I need drawings or CAD files to request a quote?+
No. Drawings and CAD files are helpful, but many projects can start from photos, measurements, sketches, an existing guard, or equipment details. If more information is needed to quote accurately, we will follow up for mounting points, clearances, access needs, material preferences, or finish requirements.
Do you only make replacement guards?+
No. MachineLine quotes both new and retrofit guard and enclosure projects for new builds, equipment upgrades, maintenance work, and replacement components.
Can you replace missing or damaged OEM guards?+
Yes. We quote replacement guarding for older equipment, damaged guards, modified machines, and hard-to-source OEM parts when we have enough detail to define the part, mounting, clearances, and access requirements.
Do you provide certified machine-safety systems?+
MachineLine focuses on fabricated guarding and enclosures. For projects involving formal machine-safety reviews, controls, interlocks, PSRs, or certified guarding requirements, we can fabricate the required physical components while final requirements are confirmed through the customer’s engineering, safety, or qualified project partners.
Do you provide robot, camera, or sensor systems?+
No. MachineLine does not supply robot hardware, cameras, sensors, controls, or vision systems. We build physical guarding, covers, shields, access panels, utility covers, and protection components around robot cells, machine-vision areas, inspection stations, and automation equipment.
What materials and finishes can you work with?+
Common options include mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, perforated sheet, expanded metal, and powder-coated finishes. The right material and finish depend on the environment, corrosion exposure, airflow, visibility, strength, cleaning needs, and customer specifications.
Can you make guards for farm and grain-handling equipment?+

Guaranteed dB reduction, acoustic modeling, or formal performance validation should be handled through testing, customer specifications, or an acoustic engineering partner.
